Hi,
I did recently alert the website team about the problem, however
they don't appear to recognise the fact that on the Mac we don't
distribute the jre with the ooo download. There is also the fact
that we don't necessarily have the latest version available for
download. The bouncer should have a version=latest, which
automatically gives you the latest version.
I can't do code changes on the Bouncer, but regarding the JRE stuff:
You mean the download.oo.o site also offers Mac with JRE which is
not available?
What I mean is that the jre is supplied by Apple with the OS,
therefore it is not possible nor required for OpenOffice.org to supply
it too.
Are you able to do changes to the download pages?
The OS should be macosxintel or macosxppc not macwjre. Can someone
please fix this.
Which OS do we currently offer via Bouncer? The three above?
The following OSes are currently available:
macosxintel
macosxppc
There never has been an os macwjre available through the bouncer and I
doubt there ever will be.
Hope the clears it up.
Shaun
