maybe it's working but is not an official released build. So the One-
Click downloader must not point to these kind of files.
Okay, I see your point.
Anyway, the working one of the above URLs is what we have in the
mirror database, and what we redirect to in the new redirector setup.
So from that perspectives, it's just one of the mirrors - same as the
others.
So
http://mirror.isoc.org.il/pub/openoffice/
would need to become
http://mirror.isoc.org.il/pub/openoffice.org.il/
As I cannot see any official released in the subdirs build I cannot
do this.
I don't know enough about all the existing links out there, but I can
easily understand that it's not a good idea to add direct links to
something that can't be seen :-)
The redirector at download.services.openoffice.org can see the files
(it seems to work from the US), and I think we can reasonably assume
that they are accessible from within Israel, so I think it's fine to
redirect users from Israel that way.
(The mirror is configured to be sent only requests from its own
country anyway, because international connectivity is scarce there.)
You access these by going to: http://he.openoffice.org/ and
clicking any of the download links on the right-hand side.
I've CC'ed the l10n mailinglist where the Hebrew people can take
care of the problem as it is their subdomain in the OOo website.
If the Hebrew team would like to point to them, then it's up to this
team.
