As long as punitive action is taken to squash disagreeable behavior, and not
disagreeable points of view.
Those 2 are quite different and distinct, I think.
As I mentioned previously, this group and this list should expect some serious
level discussion; the topics being discussed are deep, serious, sincere,
personal and, yes, political. I (again) encourage people to read Radical Candor
and assume Good Intent. Even Myrle's original post on this could be seen as a
sideways attempt to silence certain people instead of a reasonable reminder.
(I will ignore the social impacts of taking such actions as "blocking" people,
and how such decisions are made).
