On the one hand we have this WE ARE VOLUNTEERS backlash from people who feel "forced" to do something that nobody is forcing. On the other hand, a bunch of volunteers is told that their volunteer offering is not of sufficient professional quality to see the light of day and so is premature. We are of course all volunteers. And after giving tens of thousands of hours of my volunteer time to this organization I often wonder why I keep doing it, when the response is, so often, that it's not enough. And yet I know I'll probably keep doing it. Weird, huh?
