I have one in the works. Perhaps you should hold off a bit until I get put it out for review.
Please allow about a week so that I can sort out the native-installer question.
Ok, no problem. We certainly have enough to keep us busy :-)
Cheers,
One thing that you or anyone on the list could do for me is to get some screen captures for Mac. I do not have a Mac and have based my words on a procedure given me by Ben Horst some time ago. I believe the procedure may have changed in the meantime. Please use http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=37513 to attach this information. I will be putting the .odt there for review when I have added the Mac stuff. BTW, I am embedding the graphics unless this is a bad idea. The doc is going to be quite short as compared to the old one.
I am still waiting for some feedback. I know that there is activity on installation on Macs but it appears to be rather chaotic as the moment. I am looking in other areas for help on this but not having a Mac myself does put a bit of a damper on progress. Further delays have also happened due to a death in my immediate family. Soon I hope.
I'll give you the feedback, but actually the Mac Team is working on an installer. They meet licence issues, but they are still searching for a decent solution for Mac users.
As soon as I'have the installation process, I'll give it here.
Would it be possible to add this part (Mac) after so that we can begin to work on the translation for the other install instructions ?
Kind regards Sophie
