Thanks very much for the welcome.

I'm an IT Person in Louisville, Kentucky. We have 50 or so users on a Windows/ Linux network. I'd love to see us move to Open Office someday, but engineers are resistant to change.

I use Open Office every day. I've yet to "have" to open anything in Microsoft Office, not since 2.0 came out. I'm a big proponent of Open Source software and would love to be able to make a contribution.

I spent 16 years in marketing and back-doored my way into IT. Started selling CADD Software, and then progressed into tech support, networking and finally ended up doing it full-time. In the past I've written training courses for some of the cadd applications I sold and have also written tutorials for people to use to get up to speed on various software around the office.

I'm not a programmer, but I'm moderately literate (for a Kentuckian) and this seemed like a good place to try and make a contribution.

Anyway, thanks again for the welcome.
