Hi all, I worked to implement the issue 61139 and I'm now working on issue 12626, both as developer.
The issue 61139 (new PDF options) is closed, but I'm not sure if help or tooltip were added to the OOo mainline.
From what I've seen checking out the helpcontent2 source tree it seems
they weren't. Luckily these new options are quite simple, so at first an on-line help is not needed. But it would be nice to add it. Can I be of help on this ? I have no idea how the help text draft are started, but may be I can do something. Now the other one, bigger one, issue 12626. This is the implementation of the password security to exported PDF. As you can see there, in the issue, the tab page referring to the Password Security threaten to become complicated. Is there a way I can provide in advance a description to be used in the help and/or tooltips ? I know that in the specification much can be said, but so far they seem terse for a help author to obtain whatever information needed. I know from former talks that the help cannot be added until the issue has been merged into the main codeline, but wouldn't it be nice if the work on writing the on-line help started as soon as the specification were finished and approved and not when the code is merged back into the main code line ?
