Hello everybody. I have just joined the project. Specifically, I am
looking to update the Impress part of the User Guide.
I have had a long career in the IT industry, starting in 1967 as a
computer operator on an IBM 360 mainframe. I followed a fairly
traditional route from there, through programming and systems analysis
before moving to a university to teach what I had learned over the
years. I am still teaching, but now in Greece. I also get the
opportunity to do some programming and to design web sites.
I am trying to convert some of our users at least to OOo which explains
my interest in the documentation side of things.
I am looking forward to working with you all.
PS. Despite my Greek-sounding name and the fact that I live in Greece, I
don't think my Greek is at a sufficient level to help with any translation.
