I think that we at the doc project provide all of this but keep the
off-site stuff with unknown provenance in the 3rd party section. I think
it might be a better task to write up a PROPER site map so users do not
have to search at all.
IMHO it's not a question of the site map, but of a central repository
reachable from inside the program.
This needs a structure to be discussed with the developers of the
feature, a standard description (perhaps including thumbnails?) to be
presented in the template wizard and so on.
It should be a collaborative work to improve the template situation
inside the program and a great opportunity to ask for contributions if
someone doesn't find the template needed for a special purpose.
As OpenOffice.org (the program) is going to become more Internet related
(update notification, links from "embedded help" to web content ...) the
project's needs could be addressed from inside the product too IMHO.
