I would make a new front page for everyone's consideration, and correct the Contributing page, but I have been unable to get into CVS from Linux and haven't had the time to try to figure out why and fix it... so downloading the current version and uploading a suggested replacement is a nuisance as I have to reboot into Windows to do it.
I am working on a mockup for the front-page but go ahead if you have something. Basically, like you said, I would like to even more emphasize the difference between getting docs for the different audiences and contributing. Frank
