The Dialog section should be flagged for a major re-work.
If you feel comfortable in working on the wiki, go ahead and insert the NeedsRework tag to the page (some pages already have that). To do that, just add {{Documentation/NeedsRework}} at the top of the file. All wiki files that carry this flag are listed here: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Category:Documentation/NeedsRework and can therefore be found easily.
2.3 brings lots of changes New controls Native Language Strings Assigning event handlers to object interfaces etc The Database section New Section ( sub section ? ) "Working with Base documents." This doesn't replace the parts that are there - working with data sources, result sets and the like, it is in addition to. I'll put a message up to the Base mailing lists so that people know this needs work. How do you want that handled ( optimist that I am, that someone will run right over and do something ), update the talk page first, or update the actual page?
I am fine with working directly on the page for smaller changes, but major rework would be better outlined first on the talk page. Also, if someone starts to work for longer on a wiki article one should add this tag to avoid conflicts: {{Documentation/NeedsRework}} This page lists all of those pages: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Category:Documentation/BeingEdited (I need to write that up in a wiki policy...)
