This document grew out of a discussion I had with a user on a technical writers' list. I plan to reuse this (possibly in a somewhat different form) in the Writer Guide, but I thought it made a nice short how-to on its own. I plan to write a related how-to about setting up styles for nested lists. Frank, I don't know how to link this into the main How-to contents page, because there was no section there for text documents. If you or someone can set that section up, then I'll put any new how-to's I do on the contents page myself. Comments on this document are, of course, welcome from anyone.
