That's the reason, why we inside the de-Project put mostly documents in pdf-format in the www-part of our cvs. The export to pdf is for us a must feature of the framework, that we use for documentation. If the wiki is not able to export to that format, we had to maintain two versions of the same howto (etc.), one in the wiki and another one to produce a pdf. And for this work I think we will have not enough personal resources inside the project.
