I have just finished uploading PDFs of all the chapters (and a full
compiled book) of the draft OOo3 Writer Guide to the Docs website. All
chapters are also now on the Docs wiki.
All chapters have been reviewed at least once, and most of them several
times, but others (mainly Chapters 11-17) would benefit from further
review. Also, a final copyedit has not been done.
I am aware that numerous illustrations need updating to show the latest
toolbar icons. However, I don't consider this a big deal because the
icons often differ a bit between operating systems (and the user's
choice of icon set) anyway.
I decided it was much better to make the draft v3 book available to
users now, instead of waiting until other people find time to review and
edit. (It's easy enough to replace the draft chapters when they are
amended.)
