Hi Dan. Welcome to the group.. even if it's a year late in the welcome :-) There are no specific requirements or things you need to do right now. The work you are doing on the Base Guide is appreciated! This guide has been lagging behind all the rest because there is a limited number of people who use Base, and know it well enough to help out with the docs. Feel free to discuss anything about your efforts here on the mailing list. A possible resource for info and even help with writing could be the OOo Forum: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum There are a few Base users lurking there who might be a able to help here and there in the doc process, and a few HowTos and Tutorials have been written and posted there.
