I already kept an eye on this one. I will try to integrate it in the
wiki How Tos this week. Thanks for the hint.

I might have known you'd be on the job with things like this. :-)
The only problem comes if the user wants to wrap text around the
picture. Just typing into the paragraph gives rather bizarre results.
(I was rather hoping that Writer would treat the picture like a
drop-cap, but no such luck, and no such option.) I suggest a note like:
"If you want the next text to start below the picture, move the cursor
there and start typing. This may be easier to do, if you select
'''View > Nonprinting Characters''' so that the pilcrow symbols (ΒΆ)
are visible.
"Wrapping text around the picture is more complicated: see
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/OOo3_User_Guides/Writer_Guide/Working_with_Graphics
[[Documentation/OOo3_User_Guides/Writer_Guide/Working_with_Graphics]]"
(The above is awkward, and it would take me a week to write it
properly. That's why I write very little documentation.) /tj/
I started writing the How To at
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/How_Tos/Inserting_Pictures_That_are_Reasonably_Manageable
I will test it tomorrow and think about a note about continuing text
below the picture.
