Hello,
I have now started the work with going through the material for
OpenOffice.org 3.0.
I have come up with the following suggestions:
First add the system requirements to the documentation, for
comfortability. And then add a link to the page with the system
requirements for earlier versions:
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/sys_reqs.html
Add information about installation sources. The manual mentions
downloading packages but more possibilities are available, e.g. getting
from a distributor. My suggestion here is to let the user know about
various common ways of getting the software.
Place Windows first among the platforms, as most users will be looking
for that one.
Suggestions are welcome.

I am thinking of updating the Setup Guide for 3.1. There are many things
that I hve wanted to get into the guide, and there are some issues
registered with suggestions.
Where is the original ODT-document stored? Is it alright if I start
updating the material?

I think it's good to start a new issue on the issue tracker and cc the
project owner (kcarr)
this way, it would be easier to track the progress
