I hope, I'm able to update the german original of the howto for OOo 3.x in the next six month. I think it would fit best, if I do a version for 3.x and cut old stuff out of the original howto. The version for OOo 2.4.x will also live inside the CVS of OOo (maybe there are some minor fixes / updates necessary).
