Ah, I missed that :-) Hmmm I can see why it's restricted to Sysops. It's a potential for abuse by the few remaining rogue spammers we have. All of the various MultiUpload extensions I've looked at in the past have restricted this functionality to only those users with Sysop (aka Admin) permissions. initially, I don't see a way to set the permissions of this extension... might be a $wgSomething variable that can be set? Not sure yet.
