For the Ideastorm page: obviously I'm late with my suggestion to keep
the page itself free from discussion as this blocks any
"Ideastorm" (This is a well known fact among moderators and
facilitators).
True, but on the upside, we're using that page as a place to collaborate
on ideas... I'm Ok with it going that way... and... it's Wiki, we can
easily split things up and move discussion if need be. The discussion
part is healthy and a good way to hash out the ideas and get something
in the end we can act upon.

Waxing philosophical, there are at least two ways of regarding ideas:
* Some people hold that ideas are rare, and dear; creativity is fragile,
and needs delicate nurturing. The "brainstorming" method, notably used
in the advertising business, follows this line; but note, there is no
anonymity in the process.
* Others (like me) hold that ideas are plentiful, and cheap; we think of
a rough-and-tumble intellectual arena, where ideas must take their
chances--and their lumps. This is the "Roberts Rules of Order" method,
the way the U.S. Senate conducts business: roughly, "Ideas may be
debated with the utmost vigor; due courtesy must be shown to all
individuals."
Both methods work, more or less.
Personally, I find an anonymous list of ideas intimidatingly official,
where a signed list is inviting contributions. That's why I jumped in
early on this one, to try it this way. Early days, but so far, so good.
It's obvious how to contribute: for a new idea, start a new section; or,
cascade the creativity with a comment on an existing idea. To me, that's
the exciting part: as Clayton says, with some collaborative refinement,
we may get some things we can really use.
@Nino: my friend and collaborator, thank you very much for your comment.
I put my ideas up for criticism, positive or negative, not praise. But
please note the irony: if I had posted on the main page (say, under
"Process"), then by your rules you couldn't have posted your comment!
;-) I'm glad you could, and did.
