The bot should be able to invoke the "what links here" special page. But, is it smart enough to read the number of pages (should be "No pages link here)?
Failing that, a before-and-after comparison of redlinks should show any new ones, but there doesn't seem to be a Special Page for that. Maybe I was thinking of "broken redirects", which could be checked, too. Of course, I'm only thinking of things the bot could do, here; no sense making work for poor humans.
Now that I know that the bot doesn't do any better job than I would, I'll spend some time on the delete-list in the future.
