Speaking of commas and such, what style guide is the pre-emptive guide to use for authoring and editing? Confer the Wikipedia on serial commas, if you need any help (which I doubt you do...). The newspapers generally do not follow that practice, which probably goes back to their time in the past in an attempt to save a character for their narrow columns.
