This note is mainly for those of you who are not subscribed to the ooo-dev list at ApacheOOo, where we are discussing the forthcoming shutdown of the old OOo lists and what lists will be established at AOOo.
I have suggested AOOo set up a list similar to the old authors@ooo list, that would cover all content types (help, training/tutorials -- including video, FAQs, user guides, etc). It may also include the discussion of other forms of user support. This (ODFAuthors) list -- which was set up when we didn't know what was going to happen with the OOo lists, or when -- can remain, but I think it is important for people working on docs for AOOo to be subscribed to a list at AOOo. We haven't decided on a name for the new list at AOOo, but we are looking for volunteers to be moderators... particularly someone in UK/Europe.
