DS ususually works with other components, such as Hive or Spark . After new code is compilerd , it is necessary to run some workflow examples to check if DS works properly.
There may have problems with GitHub action, it is hard to install other components. Maybe use docker is an easy way. Welcome to discuss at GitHub issue: https://github.com/apache/incubator-dolphinscheduler/issues/1914
