Hi team, As the amount of plugins (task plugins, alert plugins, etc.) grows incrementally, the burden of maintenance also grows rapidly. Maintainers need to make sure the plugins function as expected during every release and take quick actions for potential security vulnerabilities. BTW, the test coverage of those plugins is also a big challenge.
Therefore, I suggest we call a vote before accepting a new plugin. For those plugins without user needs and consistent maintenance, committers / PMC members should not merge them blindly. WDYT? Best Regards, Chufeng (Eric) Gao
