morningman opened a new pull request #438: Check meta context when update partition version URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-doris/pull/438 Partition.updateVisibleVersionAndVersionHash() is the only method that may call Catalog.getCurrentCatalogJournalVersion() in a non-replay thread. So we have to check whether MetaContext is null. If MetaContext is null, which means this is a non-replay thread, and we do not need call Catalog.getCurrentCatalogJournalVersion().
