Modify-header actions support is implemented in librte_ethdev, and in test-pmd application, based on [1]. These actions include setting of source/destination IP, MAC & TP, as well as TTL. Currently MLX5 PMD supports modify-header actions using TCF (netlink) API only.
This RFC adds to MLX5 PMD the support of modify-header actions, using Direct Verbs API. It includes: * Glue APIs to relevant DV functions and types. * Validate modify-header actions. * Convert modify-header actions to DV format. Comments are welcome.
