I don't think we should increase the default value. If some exotic application needs an extremely large mempool cache, it can be changed at build time. Please also consider this patch, which unconditionally allocates mempool cache for all mempools: https://patchwork.dpdk.org/project/dpdk/patch/[email protected]/
