Hanifi Gunes created DRILL-2134:
-----------------------------------
Summary: sqlline does not show all of the columns if there is a
schema change
Key: DRILL-2134
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-2134
Project: Apache Drill
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Hanifi Gunes
Assignee: Hanifi Gunes
Priority: Critical
Sqlline lists a partial set of columns in case there is a schema change. This
issue might hint a broader problem of schema handling at JDBC & ODBC ends in
general.
Place the following input files under directory called *target*:
{code:title=1.json}
{"a":1}
{code}
{code:title=2.json}
{"b":false}
{code}
Then run a simple query like {{select * from dfs.`/path/to/target/`}}.
Depending upon scan ordering sqlline reports only column *a* or *b*.
