-1 I found a critical bug which was introduced by DRILL-2725 which results in queries failing. This bug will generally be hit if there is a large number of files, specifically the number of files is several times the number of leaf fragments. I think this issue is important enough to include the fix in the release. I already have a patch for it.
I filed DRILL-2916 to track this issue. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-2916 On Wed, Apr 29, 2015 at 5:06 PM, Ted Dunning <[email protected]> wrote: > > I am about to fly and won't be able to help, but somebody needs to check > signatures and licensing. > > Sent from my iPhone > > > On Apr 29, 2015, at 15:35, Norris Lee <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > +1. > > Downloaded source, built, ran queries against hive and DFS files through > ODBC driver. > > > > Norris > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Jacques Nadeau [mailto:[email protected]] > > Sent: Wednesday, April 29, 2015 12:50 AM > > To: [email protected] > > Subject: [VOTE] Release Apache Drill 0.9.0 > > > > Good evening, > > > > I would like to propose the release of Apache Drill, version 0.9.0. > > > > This release includes 195 resolved JIRAs [1]. > > > > The artifacts are hosted at [2]. > > > > The vote will be open for ~72 hours, ending 23:59 Pacific, May 1, 2015 > > > > [ ] +1 > > [ ] +0 > > [ ] -1 > > > > > > Thank you, > > Jacques > > > > [1] > > > https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?version=12328813&projectId=12313820 > > [2] http://people.apache.org/~jacques/apache-drill-0.9.0.rc0/ > -- Steven Phillips Software Engineer mapr.com
