I have a couple use cases where I am planning to build out some demos to show people how to replace their RDBMS data source. This will include using JDBC to Drill data from arbitrary data sources.
Being able to get the Drill JDBC driver by only having to add a dependency to a pom file will make a BIG difference with adoption.
