    The settings for running the unit tests are (from the pom file :
                  -Xms512m -Xmx4096m 
                  -XX:MaxPermSize=512M -XX:MaxDirectMemorySize=4096M
                  -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -ea
    
    At the very least, the default settings for Drill and the unit tests should 
match.
