Or we can control it by system / session option which will retails old behavior by default and in Drill 2.0 we'll change option to default value? Another thing is if we remove partition columns from select * queries (which I think is a good idea), we need to provide mechanism for the user to find out which partition columns are available. Maybe we can add new implicit column `partitions` which will output all available partitions in JSON format?
