Hi,
As I understood, drill is currently not supporting the prepared statement to
query the storage. I feel this is the required feature in the drill as drill
now getting integrated with many ETL tools. I am trying to integrate it with
Pentaho.
I am using the JDBC driver from the URL
[https://package.mapr.com/tools/MapR-JDBC/MapR_Drill/MapRDrill_jdbc_v1.6.6.1009/]
If I use the prepared statement it gives error as below
+java.sql.SQLException+: [MapR][DrillJDBCDriver](500980) Encountered error
while creating prepared statement. Details: PLAN ERROR: Cannot convert RexNode
to equivalent Drill expression. RexNode Class:
org.apache.calcite.rex.RexDynamicParam, RexNode Digest: ?0
I request to check the feasibility of having this feature. thanks
