The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Druid is delighted to announce that Cece Mei has joined the PMC!
Cece Mei has delivered critical infrastructure work including configurable bitmap indexing for object storage optimization and MSQ engine enhancements that have significantly improved our incremental compaction capabilities. Beyond the technical contributions, she's shown real community leadership by serving as release manager for Apache Druid releases and laying the groundwork for fine-grained security policies. When she isn’t busy tracking down bugs in the project, you’ll likely find her hiking the trails around San Francisco. The PMC - Project Management Committee - manages and guides the direction of the project, and is responsible for inviting new committers and PMC members to steward the longevity of the project. See https://community.apache.org/pmc/responsibilities.html if you're interested in learning more about the rights and responsibilities of PMC members. Please join us in welcoming Cece Mei to their new role in our project! Karan Kumar (cryptoe) On behalf of the Apache Druid PMC
