Hello,
I opened a small pull request against the website source on 14 August and
would like to make sure it is in the right place, rather than keep nudging
the pull request itself.
apache/druid-website-src#579 adds one line to the UIs section of
src/pages/libraries.md for LibreDB Studio, an MIT-licensed, self-hosted
database IDE that runs in the browser. It queries Druid over the SQL HTTP
endpoint (POST /druid/v2/sql, Router 8888 or Broker 8082) with no driver
dependency, renders EXPLAIN as the native query plan, and browses
datasources in the same interface as its other SQL, NoSQL, analytics and
search connections. It was verified against Apache Druid 37.0.0. The change
is a single added line, touches no other file, and the repository runs no
CI on it.
The page itself invites the change ("edit it on GitHub to create a pull
request!"), so I assume an entry there is welcome in principle. What I do
not know is who curates that list today. If there is a step I have missed,
or a criterion for what belongs in the UIs section, I am glad to follow it.
For what it is worth, #578 is a second small pending change to the same
file, so one pass over libraries.md would clear both.
Thanks for your time, and for Druid.
