According the the semantic versioning[1], I think if this release contains new features, I suggest 0.2.0. Metrics support can be included in 0.3.0. I quoted here: Given a version number MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, increment the: * MAJOR version when you make incompatible API changes, * MINOR version when you add functionality in a backwards-compatible manner, and * PATCH version when you make backwards-compatible bug fixes.
