Good evening Dubbo Community, I’m the representative of a group of students involved in a university project. We’re registered at the University of Studies of Padua, in Italy, to computer engineering faculty. We’re currently studying the processes of software development, in particular, we’re focusing on agile methods like XP and SCRUM.
Among the various possibilities that we’ve looked for in the GitHub community, we are very particularly interested in your software project: *Dubbo*. We would like to ask you kindly to help us to collect some information about it. In our project we have to analyze an open-source project, focusing on how the code was written, the organization behind the team, and which development practices have been adopted. For example, with approaches similar to SCRUM: daily meeting, planning meeting, retrospective practices are used; while with XP: pair programming, refactoring, 40 hours working week, etc. techniques are used. If possible, we would like to ask you if you could kindly give us some information on how the development and production processes happen, to understand in practice what is a possible approach to sustain the development of such a huge project.
