Hi everyone, I'm Vedansh Saini, a second-year undergraduate student at IIT BHU, India with a strong passion for open-source development, full-stack web technologies, and software engineering. I have experience working with MERN stack, Node.js, MongoDB, and frontend frameworks like React and EJS.
I recently contributed to *Apache Polaris*, working on *organizing the Python client* and resolving *JSON-related* issues, gaining hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Gradle. My growing experience in open-source development and software engineering makes me eager to contribute to the *Apache Mahout Website Refactoring* project. I am excited about this project because it aligns with my skills in *frontend modernization, UI/UX improvement, and performance optimization*. I look forward to enhancing the Mahout website's user experience while following modern web standards. GSoC 2025 presents an excellent opportunity for me to learn from experienced mentors and make meaningful contributions to Apache Mahout.
