Dear Apache Dubbo Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to follow up on my
previous email expressing interest in contributing to the GSoC 2025 - *Add
more traffic management rule support for Dubbo Proxyless Mesh** project*. I
have been deeply interested in this project and have conducted extensive
research on Dubbo's Proxyless Mesh mode.

As I delve deeper into the project, I have a specific question regarding
the integration of traffic management rules in the Proxyless Mesh
architecture.

* I understand that Dubbo's Proxyless mode allows direct communication with
the control plane using the xDS protocol, enabling unified control over
traffic management. However, I would like to know more about how Dubbo's
existing traffic control rules, such as conditional routing and tag
routing, can be extended or modified to support more advanced scenarios
like A/B testing or canary releases in the Proxyless Mesh environment.*

I have researched how Dubbo's traffic control rules can precisely control
traffic direction based on applications, services, methods, and parameters. I
am eager to explore *how these rules can be enhanced to support more
complex traffic management scenarios without relying on sidecar proxies.*

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the
opportunity to discuss these questions further and learn from your
expertise.

Looking to hear back from you.

Best regards,

Nikita Verma
