My name is Shavin Anjitha, a 3rd-year undergraduate at the University of Moratuwa, department of Computer Science and Engineering. I have some industry experience in distributed computations, which has sparked my interest in contributing to Apache Dubbo. I came across the idea list for GSoC 2025 and was particularly intrigued by the following topic: *1.* *Add more traffic management rule support for Dubbo Proxyless Mesh* The concept of Proxyless Mesh, as introduced in the Istio blog, caught my attention, and I have gone through the related documentation to get a basic understanding of the concept. However, I would like to gain deeper insight into how this concept is being applied within Apache Dubbo, especially regarding the integration with Istio for traffic management. *2. Service Discovery* It would be helpful if I can get clarification on what is expected in terms of improving service discovery in Dubbo, especially in relation to well-organized logs, actuator endpoints, and related tools. I would be grateful for any additional areas or topics I could explore to enhance my understanding and prepare for contributing to this project. Thank you very much for your time and support.
