Current problem with Kudu is handling permanent masters fail over is difficult , also if any problem in Leader/Follower election using Raft Consensus Algo should be notified to Operations team to act on it quickly ..
Also Kudu exposes different metrics like memory , usage , partition size etc ... So for Eagle Kudu metrics also good input for alerting etc ...
