100pah commented on issue #9036: Override dataZoom event URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-echarts/issues/9036#issuecomment-419743449 I think if you intend to select a range of data, probably [brush](https://ecomfe.github.io/echarts-doc/public/en/option.html#brush) can be used rather than `dataZoom`.
