However if there is an end point on the other side of the symbol, it will cover the edge more. So ```symbolOffset``` is just a workaround and won't always address the issue. I understand it will be quite complex to calculate the start/end position correctly for all types of symbols. Isn't ECharts team the A-Team to take the challenge? :-) I'll use "circle" symbol for now and close this issue.
