Raising here in the email as suggested as it's not really a big with eCharts:
If you fork an example that uses data from a example file (like https://echarts.apache.org/examples/en/editor.html?c=scatter3D-dataset&gl=1) to Codesandbox (using the helpful links), requests to https://echarts.apache.org/examples/data/asset/data/life-expectancy-table.json will fail due to CORS issues. This is not obvious in the Codesandbox editor (the console and problems panels don't show it) and for new users this would be a turn off on the project - thinking that the examples don't work. It would make DX much better to allow/open CORS on the /examples/ directory of your server. I know there's work arounds (ie, fetch the data file and make it local... but this is not obvious for most new users to the project and it just looks like eCharts doesn't work (esp. as the error it not shown). - Ginetta Rieterstrasse 6 / CH-8002 Zürich / www.ginetta.net Rowan Walker / Full Stack Engineer ro...@ginetta.net / +41 76 236 61 33
