Hi all, there is another question in my mind about the edgent project. As most of you may know, we are currently starting to “revive” the project with a totally new team, as the old community somehow went lost (I think there was a big engagement of IBM which was drastically reduced, this may be one of the reasons).
So if we achieve to grow the community again and revive the project with some ideas I ask myself if it would not be good to discuss of the name. As this name was chosen by the “former” (P)PMC with their ideas and use cases they had in mind I wonder if it is possible for a podling to change its name? If this is theoretically possible, I would give us some months to see how we proceed and if we have the impression that we have a vital community growing, then I would start a formal vote for that and also start discussion about new names. Perhaps our Mentors Chris and Justin can comment on that? Thanks Julian
