Jan Glaubitz commented on EMPIREDB-307:
---------------------------------------
Hi Rainer,
why have it into the datatable? I have a expense report (table A) that has a
payoff currency. And I have bill positions (table B). Every bill position can
have a differen currency, but in the end there is a calculation / currency
exchange to the payoff currency from table A, grouped by the billing account of
the items. Thats why there is a column in the table B column with data from the
table A. IMHO a valid use case.
For me it was always like "if there is no record= or value= the record from the
d:record tag is used. That behaviour changed now. I can live with that - but it
breaks existing code. Everyone should be aware of that.
