You will see by default statistics of whatever is translated. UI is already finalized and we are focusing on helpcontent. The branches in itself divide into different folders that contain different modules of OOo and finally the PO files which will contain the strings. Right now the numbers looked something like the following: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Localizacion_ES#Traduccioes_pendientes we have two type of translations, the fuzzy ones which are translations when you are not 100% exact. And the regular translations. Some tips are usually to download the glossary which is stored on the project documentation list provided by Aridane. http://es.openoffice.org/files/documents/73/2098/ES_StarOffice8_for_SunGloss.zip One of the tools that you should know is the search bar and the 'Quick Translate'. Search will look up for strings that you want to locate. When you are on the statistic view you can click on 'Show Editing Functions' and then go on to 'Quick translate' so you can only translate the fuzzy and empty string. You can see the editing functions to affect on po files and NOT on the actual strings. When you get a string you have the different options: - Back - Goes back one string - Skip - Goes to the next string (without saving) - Copy - copy the original enlgish string to the ES - Suggest - make an alternative translation - Submit - commit the changes and jump to the next string -- Alexandro Colorado CoLeader of OpenOffice.org ES http://es.openoffice.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
