Today Firefox 3 is out and they got a great job marketing the release.
What lessons can we learn from the release.
They got coverage on NBC, New York Times and got hundred of bloggers to
comment on this fact. They also got communities being builted across
social networks including Facebook, Hi5, MySpace and more.
They release videos and even a live stream of the release. We got twitter
pages and a pre-release registration cover by a motiviation/challenge of
implementing a new record.
They got the art in shape and mozilla europe and japan work in sync with
the traditional sites as well as spreadfirefox and mozillaparty.
From all these activities, do we have any planification towards OOo 3? Can
we get any preparation campaing. Any motivation to drive atention?
