Whatever we choose I can go along with. I think it fits in the Fortress 1.2 release (plus few bug corrections). About 2.0, I'm not sure if everyone else share my concern, but IMHO if Fortress 2.0 would have some assync initialization or something like that, it should be optional and disabled by default. Maybe not even in the same jar file.
